Experienced directors

We have directors who are highly experienced in this field, both as practitioners in implementing flexible working and as consultants advising others. Chris Ridgewell was a pioneer in this field when working with Mercury Communications a decade ago and Peter Thomson was the Personnel Director of Digital Equipment at the time that they were world leaders in remote working. Currently Chris is a Director of the Telework Association and Peter is Director of the Future Work Forum at Henley Management College so they are still at the forefront of thinking in this field.

As a niche consultancy Wisework provides clients with services that are specifically designed for a flexible working environment. Unlike other management consultants, Wisework does not provide these services as a sideline or as one of a series of business offerings, this is our business. Every assignment is carefully managed by a director and their in-depth knowledge is used to ensure a successful implementation.

Nationally recognised

Wisework was chosen in 2004 to write the Organisational Change report for the Government's Nomad Project. This provides guidelines to Local Authorities interested in implementing remote working and Wisework's expertise has made a significant contribution to this body of knowledge.

As a result of this we were asked in 2005 to write a report on the efficiencies that can be obtained from mobile working based on the Gershon Report.
