Marylou Lousvet

Marylou has worked extensively with organisations to develop suitable management practices, cultures and working practices in order to deliver effective services in new and flexible ways.
Current Projects:
- Providing expert advice to the Tenants Services Authority on how to close regional offices and transfer the staff to working at home contracts in addition to increasing flexible working within their two central offices. This involved working with the members of the project team, facilitating discussions with and offering expert advice to the pilot areas, commenting on draft polices, developing a business evaluation matrix, training all the managers in the TSA, evaluating the pilots, recommending an implementation plan for the future of home working and desk sharing.
- Working closely with the project sponsor in a Rural Council, Marylou supported the development of a business plan and implementation budget, provide expert feedback on HR policies and ITC options, facilitated pilot projects to implement flexible hours, home and mobile working in preparation for a future the move to a new office and to improve the service delivery to remote areas. She held training for the managers of the pilot teams and also an awareness workshop for elected members.
- As part of a wider project, designing and delivering a workshop to staff who were being moved into a new eco-friendly office which was open plan and involved desk sharing and the introduction of optional occasional home working.
Biography:
Marylou’s work has included developing a business case, designing and delivering management and staff training, supporting project sponsors and implementation teams and developing evaluation matrix to ensure the business benefits are delivered. Marylou enjoys working with people who are motivated to improve their organisationand committed to engaging staff in the process.
